I've been going to San Diego ComicCon for a few years now and never even considered trying to get into Hall H because of how insane it is.....until now. When I heard that the Demon Slayer panel was going to be in Hall H, I knew I had to at least try as I had been to the panel in previous years. I enjoy the anime and wanted to see what special sneak peeks were in store for the new movie Infinity Castle coming out in September. Plus, I could finally cross off a SDCC bucket list item of getting into Hall H.
Thankfully the panel was late in the evening, so I was able to wait in line most of the afternoon to get into Hall H. It was a long wait, but at least it wasn't overnight and it was worth it! I was able to get really good seats all things considered and the panel itself was unforgettable.
Some of the Japanese producers and a couple of the voice actors had a panel, but the highlight was listening to the opening song "Gurenge" performed live by LiSA, Japanese pop singer.
But that wasn't all, not even close! We got to preview the first 13 minutes of the film, which isn't released until September 12th. Finally, we ended with another live performance by LiSA of a new song from the movie Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle that had never been performed before.
Overall, I'm so excited to have been able to attend the Demon Slayer panel in Hall H at San Diego ComicCon. It's unlikely that I'll try to get into Hall H again, but I can't say it will never happen. For now, I will cherish these new memories and we will see what is to come next year at SDCC.
